and that is fine, you are not going to leave it on that, so don't worry. Yes for a moment your desktop will go lower res, and yes it looks ugly. Ĭhange your screen resolution DOWN to 1366x768 or whatever the next supportable resolution down is from your 1920x1080 current setting and APPLY it.

(you should only need to try this the once, but it is worth a shot yes?)īefore you launch origin and Mass Effect Andromeda, while you are just freshly logged into your windows. But I really wanted to play and this lower resolution is killing me because everything is so big so if anyone knows any solutions I would really appreciate it. If someone thinks it will help, i can upload my pc's specs, but I am aware that my pc is not very ideal for running the game, and honestly i probably would not have questioned it if i didn't already have around 50 hours in game at the correct resolution. The most frustrating thing about this issue is that I've always played in that resolution and it was totally fine until i tried to launch the game today and I'm losing my mind. My graphics driver is updated and my monitor is set to 1920 resolution.

It will go to a lower resolution, but when it says it's in 1920 it isn't, it's still in 1366. I've tried switching between fullscreen and windowed modes, verifying the game, setting the resolution through nvidia geforce, and setting it manually by changing the ini, and it simply won't budge. I tried to play andromeda today after not playing for probably about 2 months or so, and on launching the game I found that it had set the resolution to 1366x768 and when i tried to switch it back to 1920x1080 it showed that resolution as an option, but would not actually switch to it.
