Much as I’d love a file import it might bother people who have ditched their save files considering how old the game is (despite so many of us still playing to this day). Still a lot of work but not as much as a file import from the original. Fallout 4 New Vegas is a project aimed to recreate and revitalize Fallout New. Personally I don’t like the idea of a prequel because I like to see further progress of the post-apocalyptic world, but another potential solution: at the beginning of the sequel you just pick how the first game ended (at least the major choices). I think whoever makes NV2 could get creative in addressing it, definitely not the first game that would get a sequel where multiple endings were possible in the previous game.
